Managed Health Services Indiana, Inc. (MHS) is a managed care organization serving:

• The Hoosier Healthwise population, including
• Children in the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP)

MHS was formed in 1994 to manage the healthcare of Hoosier Healthwise enrollees in Indiana’s Northern Region.

In 1996, the State of Indiana selected MHS as one of only two managed care organizations to work with Hoosier Healthwise enrollees in Indiana’s Central Region. Two years later, MHS began working with Hoosier Healthwise enrollees in Indiana’s Southern Region.

Then in 2000, and again in 2007 MHS competed with a number of other managed care organizations and earned the contract to provide services to Indiana’s entire Hoosier Healthwise population.

• Ft. Wayne
